Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 27, 2026

RRC Associates ("RRC," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you visit rrcmovement.com (the "Site") or communicate with us through it.

1. Scope of this policy

This policy applies to information we collect through this Site and through business communications with you — for example, when you submit a contact form, subscribe to updates, request a report, or email us.

This policy does not cover our research operations. When you participate in a survey, focus group, panel, or other research study that RRC administers, the information you provide is governed by the privacy notice, consent language, or research disclosure presented to you at that time, and by our agreement with the organization sponsoring that research. If you have questions about data you provided in a research study, contact us at privacy@rrcassociates.com.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide to us. We collect information you choose to give us, which may include:

  • Name and job title
  • Organization or employer
  • Email address, phone number, and mailing address
  • The content of your message, inquiry, or request
  • Any other information you voluntarily include in a form or email

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our analytics provider may automatically collect:

  • IP address and general location inferred from it (typically city or region, not precise geolocation)
  • Browser type and version, operating system, and device type
  • Screen size and language settings
  • Pages viewed, links clicked, time on page, and scroll depth
  • Referring website or search term that brought you here
  • Date and time of your visit
  • A pseudonymous identifier used to recognize a returning browser

We use PostHog for website analytics. You can learn more about PostHog's practices at posthog.com/privacy.

Information we do not collect on this Site. We do not ask for, and ask that you not submit through this Site, Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, government identification numbers, health information, precise geolocation, biometric data, or information about your race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, immigration status, or union membership.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, and understand how the Site is used. For a description of each category of cookie we use and how to control them, see our Cookie Policy.

4. How we use information

We use the information described above to:

  • Respond to your inquiries, proposal requests, and other communications
  • Provide information, reports, or resources you request
  • Send you updates or research findings where you have asked to receive them
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site
  • Understand which content and topics are useful to our audience
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use
  • Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims

5. How we share information

We share personal information only as described here:

  • Service providers. Vendors who perform services for us and are contractually limited to using the information for that purpose — including website hosting, email delivery, customer relationship management, analytics, and IT support.
  • Professional advisors. Attorneys, accountants, auditors, and insurers, as needed.
  • Legal and safety. When we believe disclosure is required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of RRC, our clients, or others.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.
  • With your direction. When you ask us to share it.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act and similar state laws. We do not use information collected on this Site for targeted advertising.

6. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, and then delete it or de-identify it.

  • Contact form submissions and business correspondence: approximately three years after last contact
  • Marketing subscription records: until you unsubscribe, plus a limited period to honor your opt-out
  • Website analytics data: in accordance with the retention settings configured with our analytics provider
  • Records we must keep for legal, tax, audit, or contractual reasons: for the period required

7. Your privacy rights and choices

Available to everyone. Regardless of where you live, you may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any such email, and control cookies through your browser.

State privacy rights. Depending on your state of residence — including Colorado, California, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and a growing number of others — you may have the right to:

  • Know or access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, our purposes, and the categories of third parties we disclose it to
  • Correct inaccurate personal information
  • Delete personal information we have collected from you
  • Obtain a portable copy of personal information you provided to us
  • Opt out of the sale of personal information, targeted advertising, and certain profiling. As described above, we do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

Appeals. If we decline your request, you may appeal that decision by emailing privacy@rrcassociates.com with the subject line "Privacy Request Appeal." We will inform you in writing of the action taken or not taken within 45 days, and explain the reasons for our decision. If your appeal is denied, Colorado residents may contact the Colorado Attorney General, and residents of other states may contact their state attorney general.

9. Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, and destruction. The Site is served over HTTPS/TLS. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's privacy

The Site is intended for a professional audience and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this Site.

11. Visitors outside the United States

The Site is operated from the United States and intended for a United States and Canadian audience. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
